About me

MAHDI FAGHANI

I was born and raised in Rasht, IRAN, in 1982, and have been interested in electronics since the early years.

After I’d graduated and gotten an associated degree from university, I started working as an Electrical Technician in NFG – in steel industry producing rolling mill – in Anzali in 2006. I’ve worked there for two and a half year installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and machines, operating production line, acquiring invaluable knowledge in electrical industry, and become interested in programming and microcontrollers. I left the factory to get a BSC degree. Soon after I’d gotten accepted to a university nearby, I found a job associated with my firmware development skills in JDEVS – located in Tehran – in 2009. It was a good opportunity to work along with studying. I’ve gotten my BSC in ICT after 2.5 years while I was working, and then, continued working there as the Firmware/Software Engineer in the R&D team. I’d worked there for 8 years before I left in 2017 and moved to my hometown. Since then, I’ve been developing embedded software and hardware as a freelancer.

I’m interested in electronics, microcontrollers, firmware development, software development, embedded systems, and PCB design. I spend my leisure time exercising, learning English, keeping myself up-to-date with new technologies in field of electronics, and recently blogging.
